Contact Nebular
Before you contact me, please make sure you read these rules. Emails I receive that break these rules are promptly deleted and receive no response, so save yourself the time and send them in the first place. I don't want to be a jerk about it, but I can only respond to so many emails each day, and these rules cover most of the messages I get regarding RPGXplorer and the datasets.
- No, I will not email you the password for any file on this site or the un-encrypted file. If you feel that the password for a file is incorrect, please tell me which file you are having an issue with and what you believe the password should be according to your book. I will check the file to see if I have accidentally given it the wrong password and let you know when I have fixed the issue, or if there is an issue at all. This has happened once or twice before, and it wouldn't surprise me if I do it again at some point.
- No, you cannot download RPGXplorer with any/all of the datasets pre-loaded. The developers of RPGXplorer and I are seperate parties. I know it would be a convenient time saver, but neither party can nor will bundle any of these datasets with the software due to licensing and legal concerns.
- Do not email me feature requests or issues regarding defects within RPGXplorer. I am not part of the development team. These need to be posted on their forums at http://www.rpgxplorer.com/forums/ where the developers will see your comments and concerns and can do a lot more about it than I can. :)
- No, I will not point you to any torrents where you can download any sourcebook. Or any torrent for anything for that matter. Also, see the next rule.
- No, I will not tell you where you can find a crack, keygen, or simply give you my key. The software is excellent and cheap, so stop being a deadbeat and buy it. As a fellow developer, I would sooner cover you in BBQ sauce and feed you to starving wolverines than help you pirate anyone's software. Anyone who is stupid enough to ask this will have their contact information forwarded to the development team so that they may deal with them as they see fit.
- No, I do not know when a dataset will be available. As I have stated on the Project RED pages, just because something is marked as done by the person working on it does not mean it has been submitted to me yet. People usually wait until they are done with all of their entries for something and send it to me in a large batch. I typically receive datasets for whole sourcebooks now that RPGXplorer supports most of their contents. The Eberron books also pose a large challenege to the people entering their data because of the number of d20 rules that the setting bends or breaks, so there is no ETA for any of it. I also need the time to roll it into my clean environment when I can remove all of the extra junk from other books that RPGXplorer decides to include in the exports. It all takes time, and there are other things that inevitably pop up on everyone's priority list. Simply put, they're done when they're done.
Now then, if you've read all of the rules and your message doesn't fall into the above issues, feel free to . I try to respond to all of my messages in a timely manner, but it may take a while if I'm getting rather busy.
